Tips For Making This Recipe
Pomegranate Tips
Pomegranates can sometimes overpower the flavor of the sangria, so consider adding them in the last hour of chilling. And for a picture-perfect glass, spoon the pomegranates into the glass first so they don’t just sink to the bottom.
Chill For Flavor
Patience pays off! Give your Christmas white sangria with vodka at least 4 hours of chill time to let those sweet, fruity flavors fully come together.
More Fruits to Try
Have fun making your white Christmas sangria with different fruits! Raspberries, cherries, Granny Smith apples, and limes are also fantastic for this refreshing drink.

Christmas Sangria Recipe FAQs
Which wine is best for white sangria?
We enjoy this Christmas white sangria with sweet Riesling, but dry wines like Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio are also perfect, especially with the sweet fruits!
How long can you leave the fruits in Christmas sangria?
I recommend at least 4 hours for the best flavor!Â
Is it good to let white wine Christmas sangria sit in the fridge overnight?
Yes! The fruits in this festive sangria can withstand soaking to give it the best flavors. However, you should add the sparkling water only when you are ready to serve to avoid a flat holiday sangria.Â
Can you make Christmas sangria with vodka ahead of time?
Absolutely! It’ll actually help the fruits infuse more flavors into the holiday sangria with vodka! You can store your Christmas sangria in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
How do I keep my white sangria cold?Â
You can freeze apple juice in ice cube trays and use the frozen juice cubes instead of regular ice cubes. Frozen cranberries or any other frozen fruit works wonders too!
