CHRISTMAS SANGRIA RECIPE

Equipment

  • Mikasa Napoli Pitcher, 80-Ounce

Ingredients

  • 1 750 mL / 25.4 oz bottle white sweet wine, like a Riesling
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate arils
  • 1 orange cut into slices - additional for garnish
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup agave to taste* (plus additional for optional glass rim)
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • rosemary for garnish
  • coconut sugar optional for glass rim

Instructions

  • In a large glass pitcher, combine wine, vodka, cranberries, pomegranates, orange slices, and 1/4 cup agave*. Stir and taste for sweetness. If it's not sweet enough for your tastebuds, feel free to add more agave and stir again.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, up to overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Right before serving, top the pitcher off with sparkling water and a few sprigs of rosemary.
  • To serve, feel free to rim a glass with agave and coconut sugar before pouring sangria.
  • Add a slice of orange and a sprig of rosemary.
