Protein balls

INGREDIENTS

– 1/3 cup almond butter or cashew butter – 1/4 cup maple syrup – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 1/2 cups almond flour – 1 scoop vegan birthday cake or vanilla protein powder – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 2 Tablespoons sprinkles – 1-2 Tablespoons hot water, if needed

STEP 1

In a bowl, combine almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.

STEP 2

Stir in almond flour, vegan protein powder, and salt. Mix until a moldable dough forms. If too dry, add 1-3 tablespoons of hot water.

STEP 3

Fold in 2 tablespoons of sprinkles.

STEP 4

Roll the dough into 16 balls.

STEP 5

Chill before consuming or enjoy immediately.

Tips for Making  Vegan Protein Balls:

If the protein bites are too hard after the refrigerator or freezer, let them sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before consuming.
