INGREDIENTS

– 32 oreo cookie – 1/2 cup unsalted vegan butter melted – 2/3 cup coconut cream – 12 ounces 70% dark chocolate coarsely chopped

STEP 1

Crush Oreo cookies in a ziplock bag or food processor.

STEP 2

Mix crumbs with melted butter until moistened.

STEP 3

Press crumbs into a pan, forming a crust. Freeze for 15 minutes.

STEP 4

Place chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Heat coconut cream until boiling, then pour over chocolate. Stir until smooth and let cool.

STEP 5

Pour ganache into crust, spread evenly, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

STEP 6

Decorate with fresh fruits or toppings. Cut into slices and serve chilled.

Tips for Making   Vegan Chocolate Tart:

If you don’t have enough fat from the coconut milk solids, you might end up with a filling that is not firm enough. Make sure you incorporate the thick part of the coconut cream.
