HUMMUS TOAST

INGREDIENTS

For The Base – 2 slices gluten free bread or your bread of choice – 3 tablespoons hummu Topping Option 1 – 1 small avocado – ¼ teaspoon black pepper freshly cracked – ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes – 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro leave Topping Option 2 – 1 large tomato or two medium tomatoe – 1 tablespoon fresh basil leave – balsamic glaze drizzled on the top Topping Option 3 – 4 tablespoons feta cheese crumbled – 1 tablespoon pomegranate seed – 1 tablespoon pumpkin seed

STEP 1

Toast bread until golden brown.

STEP 2

Spread hummus evenly over the toast.

STEP 3

For Option 1: Slice avocado and place on hummus toast.

STEP 4

Sprinkle with black pepper, red pepper flakes, and torn cilantro leaves.

For Option 2: Slice tomatoes and place on hummus toast.

STEP 6

Drizzle with balsamic glaze and top with torn basil leaves.
