chocolate bombs

INGREDIENTS

– 1 cup vegan chocolate chip Hot Cocoa Filling – 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar – 3 Tablespoons cacao powder – 1/8 teaspoon sea salt – 1/4 cup mini vegan marshmallows (optional) Optional Topping – Sprinkles of decorating sugar – Extra chocolate for drizzling – A dusting of cocoa powder – Cacao nib – vegan marshmallow

STEP 1

Mix sugar, cacao powder, and sea salt. Divide mixture and marshmallows among 3 sphere halves.

STEP 2

Microwave chocolate chips in 30-second intervals until smooth.

STEP 3

Place 1 tbsp of melted chocolate in each mold, swirl to coat sides. Freeze molds for 3 minutes.

STEP 4

Repeat layering and freezing until molds are filled, then freeze for 15 minutes.

STEP 5

Warm a plate in the microwave, melt edges of unfilled halves, and sandwich with filled halves. 1. Optionally, use melted chocolate to seal and drizzle, then add toppings.

Tips for Making   Vegan Hot Chocolate Bomb:

Place the hot chocolate bomb in a glass or a mug. Pour hot or warm plant-milk over the top of the hot chocolate bomb. You want to be sure it is pretty warm so everything melts and dissolves properly. Stir everything together and enjoy!
