muffins recipe


– 1 tbsp ground flaxseed – 3 tbsp water – 1 1/2 cups All-Bran cereal – 1 cup almond milk – 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 1 tbsp baking powder – 1 tsp salt – 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce – Baking spray


Combine ground flax and water; let sit 5-10 minutes. Mix All-Bran cereal and almond milk; let soften for 2 minutes. In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add flax egg and applesauce to the cereal mixture; combine.


Add flour mixture and stir until combined. Distribute batter into muffin cups. Bake for 25 minutes until lightly browned. Cool and serve warm.

Tips for Making  All Bran Muffins:

– Sift your dry ingredients to remove clumps! This way, you won’t need to overmix the batter and risk getting dense muffins.
