- 1 pink-fleshed dragon fruit
- 1 cup lemon juice from approx. 8 lemons
- ⅓ cup maple syrup
- 4½ cups water
- Ice to serve (optional)
Peel and dice the dragon fruit.
Blend the diced dragon fruit with lemon juice and maple syrup until smooth.
Transfer the mixture to a large pitcher. Stir in the water.
Serve over ice.
- Pick a dragon fruit with bright, evenly pink skin. Ripe, sweet dragon fruit will also feel soft but not mushy when pressed.
- Adjust the sweetness of your dragon fruit lemonade to taste. Feel free to add more maple syrup to the dragon fruit mixture!
- Add a pop of color and flavor to your glass of dragon fruit lemonade with mint, basil, or edible flowers.
- Leftover dragon fruit lemonade can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. You can also freeze it in an ice cube tray.
