  • Wash the green apples thoroughly, then cut them into quarters. Remove the seeds and core.

  • Slice and squeeze the lemon to extract its juice. Set aside.

  • Place the apple slices in a blender or push them through a juicer.

  • Add the lemon juice and blend until smooth if using a blender. You can also add a bit of water to help with the blending process.
  • Strain the apple mixture through a sieve to remove any solids.
  • Stir one to two cups of water into the apple juice to adjust its flavor according to your preference.

  • If preferred, sweeten the green apple juice with stevia, agave nectar, or maple syrup.
  • Stir and pour over ice cubes. Garnish with mint or a green apple slice if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to use a juicer to make your green apple juice. 
  • When blending the ingredients, use the highest speed setting and blend for 20 to 30 seconds or until the mixture is smooth. 
  • Fresh green apple juice is best served right after making it. However, leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge and consumed within 4 days.
