  • 3 cups bran flakes
  • 2 cups almond milk (or other milk of your choice)
  • 2 Tablespoons ground flax seeds
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 2/3 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 cup oats , slightly ground - not into a flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup peanuts , chopped
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup agave
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips for topping , optional
