waffle recipe

INGREDIENTS

– 1 1/2 cups almond milk – 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar – 2 Tablespoons ground flax seed – 2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 Tablespoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 2 Tablespoons sugar – 1/4 cup coconut oil melted – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Topping – whipped coconut cream – berrie – maple syrup – nuts and seed

STEP 1

Combine almond milk and apple cider vinegar in a small jug. Set aside for 5 minutes.

STEP 2

Mix flax seed with 3 tablespoons of water in a separate bowl. Set aside.

STEP 3

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

STEP 4

Pour in the milk mixture, flax mixture, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined. Let rest for 5 minutes.

STEP 5

Cook 1/2 cup batter in the preheated waffle maker as per the instructions.

STEP 6

Add toppings and serve.
