2cupsbaby spinach
1apple(golden delicious or granny smith), cored
2kiwi fruit, peeled
1cupgreen grapes
fresh orange juice from one orange(about 2 Tablespoons)
1Tablespooncoconut oil
1Tablespoonfresh ginger(about 1 inch), peeled
1tspground turmeric
1/4cupground flax
1cupwarm water
Instructions
In a high speed blender, add all ingredients in the order listed above.
Blend on high speed until all ingredients are blended to a smooth consistency.
Notes
Important note about ensuring you get a hot drink:
If you are using a Vitamix - simply use warm water and push the "soup" function. This will create the right amount of friction and time needed to create a warm drink.If you are not using a Vitamix, be sure to use warmer water and all ingredients at room temperature, so as not to cool the drink down any.
