VEGAN PEANUT

BUTTER COOKIES

INGREDIENTS

– 1 cup chunky peanut butter – ¼ cup 100% pure maple syrup – ½ cup dairy-free chocolate chips – 2 teaspoons flaky salt

STEP 1

In medium bowl or stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment, mix peanut butter and maple syrup just until combined.

STEP 2

Fold in chocolate chips.

STEP 3

Use medium cookie scoop to portion dough onto baking sheet, 2 inches apart. Sprinkle tops with flaky salt.

STEP 4

Bake for 12 to 14 minutes until edges are golden brown.

STEP 5

Allow cookies to cool on pan for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.

Tips for Making  Vegan Peanut Butter Cookies:

If you want a more traditional style peanut butter cookie you can omit the chocolate chips and use a fork to press them down before baking.
