INGREDIENTS

– 2 and ⅓ cups gluten-free rolled oats – 1 large banana – ½ cup unsweetened applesauce – 2 flax eggs – ½ tsp sea salt – 1 tbsp vanilla extract – ¼ cup date syrup – ½ cup

STEP 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Blend all ingredients except chocolate chips and 1/3 cup oats until smooth.

STEP 2

Stir in chocolate chips and remaining oats. Spread batter in baking dish.

STEP 3

Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool, then slice into bars.

Tips for Making  Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies:

– This recipe’s cookie dough is similar to a very thick cake batter, but you can thin it out with a few tablespoons of almond milk if needed.
