cookie dough

INGREDIENTS

– 1 cup flour, heat treated – 1/2 cup unsalted vegan butter, softened – 2/3 cup granulated sugar – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/4 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk + more if needed – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/2 teaspoon almond extract – 1/4 cup  sprinkles

STEP 1

Preheat oven to 320°F. Spread flour on a parchment-lined sheet pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.

STEP 2

Cream butter and sugar in a food processor.

STEP 3

Add remaining ingredients except sprinkles and pulse to combine. Add milk if too dry.

STEP 4

Stir in sprinkles and refrigerate until serving.

Tips for Making   Vegan Cookie Dough:

The dough is best warmed up to room temperature just a bit to help soften the butter that may have hardened a touch in the refrigerator.
