Coconut oil treatments
As I’m sure you’ve heard, coconut oil is kind of magical and can be used for so many things. When I had long hair, I liked to put coconut oil on it as a weekly conditioner. It always made my hair soft and silky. I also like to use coconut oil after the shower to keep my skin soft and hydrated. I’ve also dabbled a bit in oil-pulling, which is so great for oral health and hygiene.
Nail polish to spruce up your digits and piggies
I don’t know about you, but kind of like the fresh flowers, there’s something about having a nice mani/pedi. Especially in a cute spring-inspired color. I usually just do my nails at home, except I believe in some pampering here and there, and the beginning of spring is the perfect time to make it happen. Your toes have been crammed into boots and shoes all winter long, and let’s be honest, they probably haven’t gotten a whole lot of love. This spring, take your little toesies to the nail salon, and give them the love and care they deserve.
Ricola to stave off the allergens in the air
With spring comes new life in the form of flower buds, pollen, and grass. Oh man, the new life sure is beautiful, but it wreaks havoc on so many people who struggle with seasonal allergies. I actually am lucky enough to not have allergies, but sometimes even I feel irritation in my throat and sinuses around this time of year once everything starts to come alive. Using Ricola Dual Action Throat Drops during this time of year, I’m able to keep that irritation at bay. They combine a unique blend of ten natural Swiss alpine herbs, natural menthol and soothing honey lemon syrup center for fast and safe relief. So whether it’s a cough or a sore throat you are dealing with this spring, you want to make sure you have these drops on hand at the ready. I promise, you will thank me! A New Glass Water Bottle to renew your water-drinking habit.
Ok, this one is actually new to me. Sure, I’ve been drinking lots and lots of water like a camel. But I’ve been drinking it out of my plastic water bottle. Sure, it’s BPA-free plastic. Sure, it’s better than drinking out of a disposable plastic water bottle. And I’m not gonna sit here and pretend I’m a scientist, but I have done a little research. The truth of the matter is that we don’t know what is in plastics. We don’t know what chemicals are being leaked into the water we’re drinking, especially over time and extended use. So I actually just went out and bought a new glass water bottle. Glass is safer. Glass will not leak chemicals into my water. Glass will keep my healthier and at less risk of toxic grossness. This Zulu bottle is the one I bought. I love it because it’s protected by a silicone sleeve so I won’t break it with my clumsiness and it also has a lock on it so when I throw it in my purse, it won’t accidentally open and spill all over my papers and electronics. Perfect.
