2. Bring healthy snacks from home.
This is an absolute must. Communal workplaces are a breeding ground for non-stop sweet treats. Whether it’s someone’s birthday and your boss brought cake to celebrate. Or maybe there’s an upcoming holiday worth celebrating with brownies and other desserts. Or maybe it’s just Friday, and that’s reason enough to have a break room full of donuts.
I’m tellin’ ya, I know how hard that struggle is, but there is only one thing that was able to get me through when I was working in an office.
I had to bring my own healthier snacks from home. Whether they were home-made or store bought, chances are highly likely that they were healthier than whatever tempting treat was hanging out in the break room calling my name.
Ok, this next tip… I have converted dozens of friends to this, and they’re feeling a million times better about their activity level, even while stuck in the office all day.
