Have I got a treat for you today! While I’m busy preparing to go visit my wife for her Air Force Basic Training graduation, I thought it would be fun to invite one of my best blogging friends over to play for the day!

Heather is a wonderful food blogger and photographer over at French Press, and she creates some of the best recipes from scratch for her family. I love her Guilt-Free Sweet Potato Chips and her Homemade Honey Wheat English Muffins. I love that so much of what she makes is made with whole ingredients that I would feel comfortable feeding to my kiddo.

Today, she brings us a recipe that I know my kiddo would love, and so would I!

Take it away, Heather.

Daylight savings time

LOVE it in the evenings

Mornings…NOT so much

It doesn’t matter that my alarm says it’s 6:25; I know it’s 5:25. No
matter how hard I try, I cannot convince myself to get out of bed.

But I know myself well, and I came prepared for a little oversleeping.

Breakfast is ready and waiting when we do decide to get up.

And it’s chocolate.

  • 3/4 cup of plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup of Nutella
  1. Place oats in the blender jar process { you just want to crumble them a bit}
  2. add the remaining ingredients to the blender jar, and blend until smooth
  3. and creamy
  4. place in a jar, cover, and refrigerate overnight
  5. in the morning just pop it back into the blender for a few seconds {the
  6. oats will have settled a bit}
