How to Get a Quick At-Home Workout Using Just a Pumpkin

Short on both time and equipment? This quick at-home workout requires just one piece of equipment – a PUMPKIN! You’re sure to work your muscles in no-time before heading out to your Halloween party.

How to Get a Quick At-Home Workout with Just a Pumpkin - that's right - if you have a pumpkin, you can build your muscles and get a good strength-training workout in before trick-or-treating

Yeah yeah. I know. I’m totally off my rocker with this one. A pumpkin?

No, but really. Hear me out. You’re about to get ready for your holiday festivities, and you realize that you’re just not feeling your best. Your energy isn’t up where you want it to be. You’re not feeling fantastic about putting your sexy costume (which is totally a different subject i could rant about…).

Whatever may be going on, you’re in need of a little oomph to get you going before the Halloween celebrations begin.

That is where this week’s workout comes into play.

The coolest part is that you don’t have to go anywhere. If you’re festive at all, chances are you have a 10-20 pound weight laying around already. That’s right, your pumpkin is going to step in.

Not only is this practical, but it’s just goofy enough that it’ll get you in a silly mood.

Even  better – do this with a friend and play some fun Halloween music to really get you going. I’m thinking Thriller, Monster Mash, and Ghostbusters. Totally classic.

This is just an example of one of the 10 exercises you’ll be performing in this circuit workout.

Do this and 9 other exercises it like it 2-3 times, and you’ll be golden and ready to do whatever spooky celebrating you’re planning.
