So I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.
I really hate the gym. The time it takes to get there and get back home. The getting ready to go there. The overwhelming amount of machines. It’s just too much for me.
Because of that, I’ve made sure to make a quality gym-like experience in my own home so I can get a great workout without ever leaving my house. This is how I did it.
The requirements are simple for my at home workouts. My tools must be:
- Small enough to fit in the corner of my living room.
- Not ugly to look at.
- Motivating enough to give me a kick-ass workout!
These are the tools I came up with as the absolute bare minimum for my at home workouts, and I know they will help you to get your sweat on right in the comfort of your own home.
If I had to pick just ONE item to get started though, I have to tell you, it would definitely be my set of adjustable dumbbells. With those, I can do anything! Everything else can wait. Start with these weights, and you’ll be ready to go in no time!
