There is some definite magic in Ricola® Herb and Throat Drops, and I’m thrilled to be talking about their super powers today, but first let’s talk about some other powers.
Moms are truly super-human, and today we are celebrating their abilities and powers to make everything all better.
I truly believe that once a woman becomes a mom, they gain some sort of super powers.
Their kisses on scraped knees seem to have healing power.
Their hugs bring sunshine to an otherwise cloudy day.
Their voice in the next room just seems to bring a comfort that wasn’t there before.
The day I became a mom was both the scariest and happiest day of my life.
So many expectations. So many new responsibilities. So many new things to experience as a mom.
But the one thing I have learned in my 8 years of motherhood is that in my kiddo’s eyes, I have super powers that do not fail.
And the wonderful thing about my son is that he gets a double dosage of super powers in our home.
My amazing wife has taken on the role of the second mom in the house, and my goodness, I swear she automatically gained super powers when she came into our lives.
The life-advice she’s able to give our kiddo.
The lessons she’s able to teach him.
The responsibilities she’s taken on because of him.
The playful wrestling and tickle fights that sure sound magical with all the laughing.
Our son is one lucky duck with all the super power mama strength he has around him.
This week, little one helped me out in our little garden. Pulling weeds. Planting pretty flowers and vegetables. Getting our little herb garden set up.
It was quite the day working outside for us.
By that evening, the sniffles and coughing started. I’d assume from all the dust, dirt, and green things all up in the air.
Needless to say, the next day was spent just being chill with lots of comforting mama loves.
And thank goodness for Ricola® Herb & Throat Drops! The combination of Mama Super Power and the refreshing effervescent center of these lemon drops, my kiddo was feeling so much better by the end of the day.
I have to give credit to Ricola and it’s amazing 12-herb blend that obviously heals almost as well as the mama super powers I was able to give! There was definitely some soothing relief there that I just couldn’t give to that scratchy throat.
The mama powers in my little family are more than I could ever ask for. And thankfully, I’m not alone in this game of motherhood. And more importantly, I’m incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful kid who makes my super powers shine on a daily basis.
His kind heart makes me so proud and happy to be a mom.
