Don’t want to leave the house to workout? With this At-Home Dumbbell Workout for Toned Arms, you can get toned arms right from your living room with just a pair of dumbbells.
Happy Saturday! Gosh, I can’t believe I’ve made it through yet another week of crazy. If you haven’t noticed, I’ve posted every day in November so far, and also the two weeks prior, and I am realizing just how much work that becomes!
Thank goodness I’m more than a food blog and can incorporate workouts, motivation, and health tips, because dang – recipe posts take hours and hours. Plus I’d have to come up with so many new ideas, and I’m just not sure I have that in me.
Funny I say all this because in the upcoming week, I am actually sharing 5 recipes in a row! I’m not exactly sure what I was thinking, but it’s definitely pumping up the stress levels.
And speaking of pumping up and stress…
Have you seen this week’s awesome workout?
I came across this quick arm workout from Amy of A Healthy Life for Me and had to give it a try. I’m always game for workouts that have the golden trifecta:
- requires little space
- requires little equipment
- requires little time
I don’t have much of any of those things so it’s super important that I find workouts that fit the bill, and this one totally does. In fact, all you need is a pair of dumbbells and enough space for your body to stand.
These are the dumbbells I use. For some reason I’ve had a hard time finding these kind in the store, so I always suggest buying them online. Being that they’re adjustable, you can start low and work your way up to a higher weight as you get stronger.
Here’s just a small snippet of the exercises you’ll get from Amy.
So make sure you check it out, pick up your dumbbells and get to work. You’ll be done in no time, and if you’re anything like me and only getting your workouts in a couple times a week, you’ll probably end up sore.
