Adult Coffee Chiller

These Adult Coffee Chillers are the perfect treat for after-dinner dessert to wind down the evening.

Adult Coffee Chiller - the perfect blend of coffee and sweet liquors. Definitely the best way to enjoy my coffee!

Today is a special day. For a couple of reasons actually. First and foremost, I have to say a big huge Happy Anniversary to the love of my life. Today, three years ago, we committed ourselves to each other in front of our friends and family. Not a day goes by that I don’t feel extremely lucky to be her wife and spend the rest of our days together. She does so much for me. Helps me around the house. Takes on a little extra with my kiddo so I can get more things on the blog done. And she especially brings me amazing mugs of coffee. I’ve told her many times – coffee truly does taste the best when she has made it … and brought it to me while I’m still in bed preferably.

And this leads me to the second reason why today is so special.

Today is actually National Coffee Day! When we got married three years ago, we had no clue that we would be sharing our anniversary with this day. It wasn’t until our first anniversary that we caught on. It’s not as if we don’t celebrate coffee every other day – but when it’s National Coffee Day AND our wedding anniversary all in one day, it sure tends to taste a bit sweeter.

You can see us celebrating Coffee Day last year.

For us, coffee is more than just a mug of hot liquid.

Coffee is a conversation with my best friend.

Coffee is comfort after a long day.

Coffee is warmth on a chilly autumn morning.

Coffee truly does bind us in so many ways, and I am so thrilled to share National Coffee Day with our wedding anniversary.

Our second beverage love is basically any liquor. Combine this love with our love of coffee, and we have come up with this amazing chilled beverage to celebrate both our love of coffee and our marriage. It is truly a match made in heaven (I’m not sure if I’m talking about the coffee+liquor or my marriage). The coffee buzz and the liquor buzz. Yeah, it’s definitely a fantastic time after a long day at work. Adult Coffee for the win! (As if coffee wasn’t already an adult beverage…)

Also, I have teamed up with Staples to help celebrate National Coffee Day. They are offering 3 of my readers to win an amazing coffee package that will include a brewer, coffee, and some snacks. I’d love for you to join me over on Twitter today (09/29/2014) at 9am, 1pm, and 3pm EST. You’ll have a chance to respond to my questions and get yourself in the running to win.

Thanks Jessica!! I totally agree – adult bevs need to happen much more often in the blog world, right?? I’ve considered making it a regularly featured post on a monthly basis or something. Maybe Skinny Sips on Sunday 🙂 oooooh, I like it!
