If you’re just getting back on the workout horse, this 30-Minute Treadmill Workout is a great place to start so you don’t run the risk of injuring yourself.
Phew! Thanksgiving is over and done with, and I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling a little extra push to get my rear end moving.
Maybe it was the second helping of oh-so-yummy stuffing. Or maybe it was the apple pie that I love so much.
Whatever it was, I’m excited to get back to the weights and cardio. What about you? Are you feeling a need to get back to it?
I came across this workout from FitBottomGirls that I wanted to share with you. Gone are my days of running due to knee pain, but I have to say that I truly do miss the joy I used to get from running once I got in the rhythm of it. Sure, those first few weeks are a little rough if you’re not used to running, but once you get through that, you’re on your way to that amazing runner’s high.
But maybe you’re thinking this is way above any realm of any working out you’ve been doing lately, and you need to start from the very beginning. This is the perfect workout for you. If you’re new to running, the last thing you want to do is just start running without any warming up or training at all. That’s a recipe for injury before you even start enjoying yourself!
You’ll get in some walking, some light jogging, and maybe a short run if you’re up to it. Before you know it, you’ll be running the whole 30 minutes through!
So if you’re ready to switch up your workouts, start something new, and train on the treadmill the right way, this is the workout for you to start this weekend.
