Can you believe it? Christmas has come and gone and it’s almost time to celebrate the upcoming new year. 2016. I swear, back in Kindergarten, I would have predicted we’d have flying cars at this point in time. Although when it comes down to execution of said flying cars, I can’t see that going well. I see a whole lot of chaos. So I’m okay with technology not progression quite that much.
But there is one thing that hasn’t changed from year to year. Women all over the world making resolutions to be healthier starting on January 1st. I don’t know what it is about the new year, but it’s like a clean slate. All those Christmas cookies and fudge plates are forgotten and it’s time to move on to something healthier and lighter. Because this is the year that it’s all going to change, right?
This is the year that you are going to be more conscious of what you eat and you are actually going to stick to it this time. And you are going to get your family on board as well, whether they like it or not.
The problem is that you have no clue what to make for your hungry family so that it’s still delicious yet secretly uber healthy. I know that’s where I struggle. If it was up to me, I’d have salads every night of the week. But my family is always looking for cheesy casseroles and messy burritos drenched in sauce and cheese.
