These days, I’ve become pretty dang picky with what I put in my body… as I should! I think it’s important that we all are aware of the things we eat and drink.
When it comes to drinking, it’s super easy to just wrack up the calories, and especially sugar. The syrupy mixers. The sodas. And of course the actual liquors. Unfortunately, I can’t take the calories away in the actual liquor, but there are things I CAN do in order to cut out some of the calories and sugar in our delicious drinks we’re sipping on this summer.
My favorite tips for drinking a little lighter this summer:
- use fresh juices
- use natural sweeteners like Stevia
- drink wine. it’s lower in calories
